A black tablecloth stands for the background. An enlarged picture makes the cover of the book. The book is made of cardboard and filled with "pages" made of large shipping paper. Plastic bugs and vintage Halloween cutouts add more visual interest.
The box of chocolates was made from poster board. Red tissue paper filled the shape and the chocolates were small books with library-themed pick-up lines. The cardboard books were nestled in sheets of foil to become "chocolates."

The slider below showcases the Millstadt Tiny Library which was created out of a personal idea a developed out of a grant I won from the State of Illinois. The catch being that funds could not be spent on labor. I was able to source the outside building labor and did most of the interior myself.
